Can't Georeference In QGIS Two Orthomosaics
« on: February 25, 2023, 01:51:23 PM »
Hello all,

i have 2 orthomosaics made one from Agisoft one from other software and i want to align/georeference one to the other with QGIS using the Georeference Raster .

When i open the ortho made from Agisoft in QGIS the assigned coordinate system reads "SOURCECRS"  while other orthomosaic reads correctly "EPSG:2100".

Inside Agisoft everything is set to" EPSG:2100" and in the export i checked On *Write World File* which gives a "*.tfw"

Georeference doesnt work i assume because of the difference above ?
what do i do with the "*.tfw" file ?
How can i get the orthomosaic to export with "correct" coord system ?

Thank you,
Best!

As of QGIS 3.30.0 Orthomosaics from Metashape still show "SOURCECRS" as the CRS when imported into QGIS.

However, the image I use does georeference correctly.  It happens to be in WGS84 EPSG4326, lat/lon.

Have you tried manually setting the layer CRS in QGIS after you import it?
