Canon D600 kit lenes 18-50 vs cheap 50 mm

Hello,
I would like to build small camera rig with Canon D600.
I wonder what is best choice for lenses. If cheap 50 mm will make geometry reconstruction much better than kit lenses.
What do you think guys.
Thanks for answer.

I have good experiences with the Canon 50 mm prime lens (the cheaper one)!

The 50/f1.8 lens is sharp, but the focus speed is slow, and not good at anti-glare(the image is pale when faced to flashlight or sunlight).
