Agisoft 2.0 Multi-Camera system
« on: January 05, 2023, 10:17:25 PM »
Hi everyone,

I came across a very annoying change between version 1.8.4 and 2.0.
I often do thermal image processing, and mesh texturing using thermal images. The easiest way to achieve this, is by using a 'multi-camera system'.
The mesh is computed based on RGB pictures set as master, and then I used to select the thermal images as master before computing the texture. In that way, the mesh was accurately textured with thermal information.
In the new version of the software, whatever the set of camera is used as master, the texture will always use the RGB pictures as source. It is really extremely annoying as it ruins all our workflows (and push us to remain on 1.8.4).

Is it a normal behavior of the new version?

Kind regards

Alexey Pasumansky

Hello sdu,

Have you tried to use Raster Calculator to apply the texture based on the thermal band only?

I noticed same behavior as @sdu mention.

Would it be possible to bring back this functionality?
