Metashape not recognising Southern Hemisphere
« on: April 13, 2023, 05:12:42 AM »
Hi,

We're using a DJI P1 camera (on a drone, obvs). It records long/lat values as (149.xxx, 36.xxx). We're in Australia, so latitude is actually -36.xxx. Somehow QGIS knows what's going on and imports the geotags in the southern hemisphere. Metashape doesn't seem to. We were using it successfully with a Phantom 4 for a while but just started with the P1 and are having this weird problem. Is there any way we can either specify that this is in the southern hemisphere, or simply batch add the minus sign in front of the latitude?

Hello glenrs,

Can you share any image from your drone either by a link or by sending to support@agisoft.com, so that we could check, if there's any meta data that is not properly treated by Metashape?
