Buying DJI Mavic 3 CL or DJI Mini 3 Pro
« on: April 24, 2023, 04:24:22 PM »
I ahve been working with the CJI mavic 2 Zoom and measeure Buildings with Agisoft,
for me it works very good.

But my DJI is crashed  >:(

i'd like to buy new Drohe for Photogrammetrie, but which is the best for Agisoft?

DJI Mini 3 Pro with 1/1,3″ CMOS, Effektive Pixel: 48 MP
or the Mavic 3 classic 4/3 CMOS, Effektive Pixel: 20 MP ?

GNSS for GPS  data ar he same:
GPS + Galileo + BeiDou

or does anyone have another suggestion for Drohne in this price-league?

Hello,

you should check if 3rd party flight planning software as litchi, pix4dcapture support these drones. If not then you should consider other alternatives as Mavic3 E per example... I know that Mavic3 SDK has not been released by DJI (and probably will not be) so mapping missions become impossible to plan....

I have read from the Mavic3 SDK problem.

But i can also take manuell photos with DJI App as POI etc. and
then Import on Images Metashape.

Mavic 3 Enterprise is the only one on that list with a mechanical shutter. Electronic shutters still work but at a small cost of quality. M3E also has a faster capture rate at 0.7 second 20mp jpgs. If accuracy matters it also is the only one capable of RTK corrections. Lastly, though already stated, flight planning software is leagues ahead on the M3E. DJI will likely never release the SDK for the Mavic 3 line. M3E has had it from day one.
