Could someone please to me the importance of the following PhotoScan Pro items for 3D Full Body Scanning?

Setting coordinate system   
DEM generation   
Orthophoto generation   
Georeferencing of generated results   
4D reconstruction   
Multispectral imagery processing

Hello Ryan,

4D feature is important if you plan to process sequences of frames, for example, facial expressions.

Coordinate system definition is important if correct model orientation and scaling is required based either on markers or known reference-distances.

Probably you'll require Python scripting support available only in Professional edition, but it will depend on the automation tasks or additional features required.

What Python scripting support would you suggest for 3D Full Body Scanning?  I am only interested in static/still imaging of people.  I am new to photogrammetry and have only worked with 123D Catch.

Hello Ryan,

That depends on the common workflow. With scripts it's possible sometimes to access functionality you can't get from standard GUI, but in many cases it's not required.
