Orthomosaic from imported DEM
« on: May 01, 2023, 01:10:20 PM »
I completed an aerial survey of a compound with buildings, i am trying to get a a good quality true ortho image. I originally completed the survey with oblique imagery to get a high quality point cloud. 3d mission with dji P4RTK(60 degrees double grid). Pretty good point cloud, spent a heap of time to clean up the point cloud and DEM etc for building roofs but not happy with the orthomosaic, i believe due to the oblique imagery. I have reflown the site with a double grid 80 80 overlap, nadir angle. Trying to use the already cleaned DEM to generate the orthomosaic but when i import it into the new project and create orthomosaic, i get washed results as per attached. Any solution or do i need to reclean the DEM from Nadir flight?

You can try to manually pick images used for blurry parts of the orthomosaic. Create a polygon over the blurry part and right click Assign Images.
