Dense cloud denisty increase when applying mask

I try to apply mask for 1000 photos to decrease the processing time.
processing time is almost no change for poitncloud construction phase.

when analyze the data, I found that the denisty of the pointcloud increased at the masked area.
however i erased 50% of the picture pixels but the denisty increased to make the pointcloud file size almost as same as the the file without mask.

any explanation why the denisty of the poitncloud increased ?

I am using the latest version of METASHAPE pro
