2. When will this 90º twist of the X axis (reported many months ago) get fixed?

Hello thepropertyshooter,

What  viewer you are using to open GLB files exported from Metashape?

I have checked some online viewers and see that they use Y-up convention, while Metashape uses Z-up. But the axis are treated properly, if I apply scaling, for example, to one of the axis.
