I want to convert from the DJI WGS84 to NAD83(CSRS)/UTMz10 CGVD2013.
I downloaded the geoid from the agisoft website and put it in the agisoft geoid folder.
When I start agisoft I get a command prompt like window that says the geoids I put in that folder can't load (see attached jpg).
When I select the NAD83(CSRS)/UTMz10 + CGVD2013 in the convert dialog I get the error "vertical datum is unavailable"
When I  select "datum transformation settings" from the convert reference dialog with the NAD83(CSRS)/UTMz10 + CGVD2013 system selected and then from the geoid height select add, and then navigate to the geoid in the agisoft geoid folder and then select "for all users" I get the error message "Can't create file C:/Program Files/Agisoft/Metashape Pro/geoids/ca_nrc_CGG2013n83.tif".  If I do the same steps but select for current user I eventually get an error "unsupported vertical datum".

The reason I want to use the NAD83(CSRS)/UTMz10 + CGVD2013 is because my ground control targets are in that system.

Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong or suggest a work around ... currently I was thinking I will just use NAD83(CSRS)/UTMz10 with no geoid (so I presume it will presume my GCP verticals are on the ellipsoid? .. I will be combining with LIDAR that is in CGVD2013 so this may be an issue...).

Any advice would be very welcome
Thanks.

Hello mapper,

I was able to create the compound CS with NAD83(CSRS)/UTM10 + CGVD2013 height as in following screen capture...
Code: [Select]
Compound Coordinate System: NAD83(CSRS)v7 / UTM zone 10N + CGVD2013 height
Projected Coordinate System: NAD83(CSRS)v7 / UTM zone 10N + CGVD2013 height
Linear Units: metre (EPSG::9001)
Projection Method: Transverse Mercator
    Latitude of natural origin: 0
    Longitude of natural origin: -123
    Scale factor at natural origin: 0.9996
    False easting: 500000
    False northing: 0
Geographic Coordinate System: NAD83(CSRS) (EPSG::4617)
Angular Units: degree (EPSG::9102)
Geodetic Datum: NAD83 Canadian Spatial Reference System (EPSG::6140)
Ellipsoid: GRS 1980 (EPSG::7019)
Prime Meridian: Greenwich (EPSG::8901)
Vertical Coordinate System: CGVD2013(CGG2013) height (EPSG::6647)
Vertical Units: metre (EPSG::9001)
Vertical Datum: Canadian Geodetic Vertical Datum of 2013 (CGG2013) (EPSG::1127)

I have the geoid file ca_nrc_CGG2013n83.tif in my local geoids folder C:\Users\paul.pelletier\AppData\Local\Agisoft\Metashape Pro\geoids. You may have an access problem to the global geoids folder.

Should work if you copy to your local geoids folder....
