Can't activate license

Can't access rehostable hostid. This could happen if it does not exist or
if you have no write access to /Library/Application Support/Reprise folder.

This is what I get when I try to activate license using "Metashape.License().activate('xxx').
The activation process for this software is so overcomplicated...

Hello FrancoCorleone,

You may need to do that with the administrative (superuser) privileges, or manually create the folder with 777 rights before the activation.

Also it seems that you are using version 1.x. If there are no actual reasons why you prefer to stay on the older version, I would suggest to start using Metashape version 2.0:
