Shiny cloth: Less holes with 3DF Zephyr
« on: September 18, 2023, 12:36:35 PM »
See examples:

The issue is a shiny somewhat reflective blanket on the shrine next to the trees. In general, I prefer the detail of geometry created by Metashape. However, here Zephyr produces less holes. Are there some options to tweak Metashape in order to do a better job?

Hello feklee,

Thank you for sharing the dataset.

Seems that there is some alignment issues that affects the surface reconstruction process. We'll try to reprocess the data and share the results shortly.

Hello feklee,

Please see the mesh generation results in re-aligned project:

There were some incorrectly aligned cameras which affected the surface reconstruction (for example, double ground surface in your project in some areas).
