Cannot see drawn shapes in model space

Is there a reason why I cannot see shapes that I've drawn in model space? My point cloud is an imported .laz. It's been clasified. I am using regular shape tools and Vertex snap. The layers are visible, the shape button is activated and Transparency is set to 0%. Whenever I try to draw a point or polygon they immediately disappear from the model space but the shapes remain in the chunk. Thanks in advance.

My guess. Your current active layer is actually disabled so when you draw you send vectors to an invisible "default" layer.

Unfortunately the active layer being used is the default layer and it's enabled. After a shape is 'drawn' and disappears it is shown in the project tree. If I attempt to export it, I get a warning that it can't convert the shapes into the selected coordinate system. I am using the latest version of Agisoft. I've never encountered this problem before after 6 years of use.

all coordinate systems present in the project.
1 global for project (mesh, pointclouds inherit that
crs  for the active orthomosaic
crs for the active DEM
if you have used a particular CRS for either Ortho or DEM, make sure the ortho and dem are not active (unchecked as default)

All of the coordinate systems are set correctly for the point cloud,  the mesh but when I check the chunk info the shapes are in WGS84. This hasn't really happened before and there doesn't seem to be a way of setting the shapes in the current coordinate system.

Hello Michael,

Please check if Attach Markers option is enabled in the Tools menu -> Markers section. If it is enabled - then disable the option and then try to draw a new shape.

Brilliant! That worked! I only downloaded the update earlier this week. Any idea why this setting is set as the default? I honestly thought someone had 'broken' Agisoft!
