Orthomosaic seamlines editing
« on: October 06, 2023, 07:10:01 AM »
I have done this before, but now I'm missing something.

From the manual, page 140
Quote
To edit orthomosaic or panorama seamlines
1. Draw a polygon on the orthomosaic/panorama using Draw Polygon instrument to indicate the
area to be retextured.
2. Select Assign Images... command from the context menu of the selected polygon.

It should be basic, but if I draw a polygon on the ortho, the "assign images" command remains grayed out.  I would add that the "show seamlines" command does not do anything either.
What am I missing please?

Hello dpitman,

Assign Images option can be unavailable, if the orthorectified images have been removed from project from Orthomosaic context menu in Workspace pane (Remove Orthophotos).

Hi Alexey,

Thank you for your response!

I figured out what I was doing wrong.  I was using an ortho that was duplicated, and cropped to an outer boundary polygon.  When I use the original ortho, everything works as expected.  :)  I knew it had to be something simple.

Hello Dave,

Yes, seems like a known, but not yet fixed issue, when the duplicated orthomosaic doesn't contain orthorectified images, when "clip to boundary" option is enabled upon duplication.
