Median blending option for textures and orthomosaics

Hi all!
I decided to create a topic, and after searching for the word “median” on the forum I found several already existing ones, and it seems that this question is relevant not only for me.
Experience using stacks in Photoshop shows that in some cases it is convenient to use the mean (average) mode, and in some cases the median mode.
While the mean mode, when mixing many images (which contain, for example, moving cars, people), leaves so-called ghosts of everything that happened in the frame, the median mode allows you to completely get rid of such temporary random elements, and everything remains in the frame the most motionless and unchanging throughout the shooting process.
In relation to the creation of orthophotos and textures in Metashape, it would be interesting to test the median mode, since it would reduce the number of operations with patches, as well as improve the texturing of building walls, against which tree branches, bushes, and other unwanted elements may appear.
