Masking from background error (inverted)
« on: September 25, 2013, 03:04:31 PM »
Hi,

I've noticed on some projects, masks generated from background sometmetimes are inverted, or just unefficient. (See attachment). It happens on 1.0 and 0.9 versions of Agisoft.

On most scans (full body) it works flawless however. I'm using a unique foldername structure in order to accomodate for identical filenames. Masks are generated from an empty green background, 6 cameras.

What is cuasing this behaviour is a mystery to me. Can you help?

Thanks,

Mark

Hello Mark,

Could you please send a couple of images (original - good masked, original - bad masked and background) to support@agisoft.ru? Please also send s screenshot of Import Masks dialog, so we could check the template and try to reproduce the problem.
Best regards,

Hello Mark,

In the 1.0.0 build 1771 we have improved difference masking correction and it should work much better on similar datasets.
