Build Point Cloud

I am finding that when I try to *build a dense cloud* from an optimized sparse cloud using the new *build point cloud* option, it doesn't seem to change anything in my file. Metashape *runs* for a bit and then the cloud looks the same and has the number of points. Would be keen to hear any advice on how to fix this!

It seems like Metashape doesn't automatically switch the dense cloud view after building the dense cloud.

You can switch to it by either double clicking the newly created "Point Cloud" in the workspace/chunk explorer bit, or Model -> View Mode -> "Point Cloud - (various options)" or the Point Cloud icon in the toolbar (showing a 3x3 grid of points).

If none of those work then I guess it really didn't do anything, like you say!
