Mission Planning not working correctly
« on: November 18, 2023, 03:46:27 AM »
Hey all,

I'm having an issue where I can make a mission plan based on a simple flight, but the final export is off in real world space. I've tried different output formats, as well as rebuilding the file from scratch. Nothing.

I'm using a Mavic 3 Enterprise with RTK, connected to the California RTK network. My error is 1.6cm(station was less than 10km), so I feel my flight path should not be dozens of meters above my intended path. I am using Metashape 2.0.0

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hello Scan_Lee,

Might be related to coordinate system conflict.

What coordinate system is selected for the chunk in the Reference pane settings? Are the shapes in the chunk in the same coordinate system?

Does Google Earth consider the imported KML file as having height above ellispoid, above geoid or above the sea level?
Best regards,
