Question about TriangulateTiePoints

Can I get an explanation of what TriangulateTiePoints does and where is it in the GUI?, I know it adds tie points.
In a certain project it added 200k of noise tie points

Hello arafat,

triangulateTiePoints() command can be used to generate the 3D tie point cloud, when the images have been matched and exterior&interior orientation parameters has been imported for the cameras.

Do I understand it correctly, that the main application here is to use external feature detectors/descriptors and also external matching tools?
