Author Topic: CAN I SOMEHOW DOWNLOAD ONLY ORTHOMOSAIC FROM AGISOFT CLOUD WITHOUT ORTHOPHOTOS?!  (Read 8282 times)

Hi,
Can I somehow download only orthomosaic from Agisoft Cloud, without downloading orthophotos?
I mean I have huge project, really huge project and it has 78 GB or so to download, so if there's way How to download only orthomosaic cause that's only what I need... (check for project properties in zip file, basically compressed PDF report)
Also when I cancel downloading, and when I continue (I mean basically start again) to download then It just starts from the beginning - NOT from spot where I canceled or stopped downloading...
Check for images - image_before and image_after in attachments.

Also while generating orthomosaic I ran out of Agisoft Cloud space, so...
If possible to download project without depth maps since I've delete depth maps from my local storage now I'm getting strange message when trying to create mesh from dense point cloud - which says: "No cameras with depth maps or Laser Scans in working volume" (you can check for that in the pictures)

Unfortunately it is impossible to download only selected processing results as it leads to project inconsistency.

When you cancel the download procedure, partially downloaded files are being deleted, while fully downloaded files are being preserved and reused during the next download session if the cloud version of the project has not been changed since.

Regarding the error you are facing when attempting to build Mesh -  can you please clarify if you deleted depth maps via user interface or you’ve just deleted the folder in project.files? Also please make sure that you configure Point Cloud as a source data for building Mesh operation and that the processing region contains any points.

Now, regarding to your question:

I deleted depth maps via user interface. There was drop-down 'list' of what project contains (to be more accurate what chunk contains) on the left side. From there I just selected "Depth Maps" then right-click on that to get more options and then I choose "Delete depth maps" option. Later, I just chose options for making mesh. Yeah, I did select "dense point cloud". I have version 1.8.5 so there's no only "point cloud" as option - It's clarified wheter you making mesh from "point cloud" [sparse point cloud] or from "dense point cloud", or - almost forget from "DEM".
I did not change region at all - since when I build mesh from "DEM".
I just forgot that "DEM" can reconstruct model in 2.5D so there's no nicely reconstructed vertical surfaces.
That's the reason why I'm going into 3D arbitary mode reconstruction mesh from dense point cloud.

It would be really nice to download, or at least to export some useful things from Agisoft Cloud - "on-line". I mean maybe to export model, or to export orthomosaic it would be quite useful - that's my suggestion for future updates.
I mean sometimes you don't need whole project for maybe investors, sometimes is quite enough to have just part of it - or exported part of it.

For download purposes, don't know If I missed maybe an option to "Pause" download. I see that option while processing project - locally. It's useful for doing that cause PC infrastructure can often be overloaded...

Thank you for your clarification.

First, we highly recommend you to update Metashape to the latest released version, in every version we implement fixes and improvements, so a simple update may solve a lot of problems. In case it will not, please submit a support ticket on our support portal, because most likely we will need access to the project, and we believe that in this context it would be better to continue communication by email.

The ability to download the processing results is in our plans, but at this stage it is difficult to give some kind of forecast about the release date of the corresponding functionality.

As for the pause button - we will think about what we can do.
