Export confidence as a texture map?

Now, when swipe upper I saw Agisoft Forum post from
e.spiridonova...
I got an email where e** spiridonova actually sent me a python script inside that email.
I did not, actually note that to be honest. I just got email from Agisoft cause I switch on option to be notified about getting any answer on my forum question - on the last mail - I just read your message and when I saw what I saw...then I came with, obviously now wrong conclusions.

So now I'm apologizing to you. So please take my sorry or whatever cause I did not saw message above.

Though is really nice to help others in trouble

THANKS SO MUCH for the script!!
I tried and it works so well, at least on smaller projects, cause I did not tried it on bigger ones.

Maybe I'm not so grateful, maybe I know that...
But Can your script be modified in a way that also can export textures of "model by altitudes" and "model by overlap"?

I found scripts on Agisoft LLC GitHub - that someone make script for colorizing model by overlap and colorizing model by altitudes.

So, I just want to know two things - can your script be modified in a way to export these values as textures (like you done for model confidence)?

Also, if there's possible just to colorize model, without exporting whole model with textures? I found In code that you export 1 texture with 8192 px x 8192 px.
In scripts from Agisoft LLC (above mentioned) it just colorize model and I found way that is possible to build textures from model. I mean you can modify as much textures as you wish.

Maybe I have strange requests for you, but it would be nice to have also these features as well - I mean colorized model by overlap and model colorized by altitudes, like script does for model confidence.

Anyway thanks - thanks so much cause without your script I'll be lost till this day

Thank you for your feedback.

You can use the scripts from Github that you have linked to. The vertices of the model will be colored according to the parameters you need. And after that, you can start building a texture and simply use the desired model as the source data (a model with altitude coloring and a model with overlay coloring). This way you will create the texture you need. I've added texture building commands to the scripts.

I haven't had a chance to try this yet - once I do I can post my results. I appreciate the continued discussion and added details. I'm still learning how to use the program, so this has all been very helpful. I will try the suggestion about getting get confidence map/mask into Zbrush - we are creating anatomical models from actual specimens and then sculpting up missing detail in ZBrush, so this will be helpful to identify where most of our additions are being made. Thanks!
