Effect of Markers and References on Photo Alignment in Python API

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the photo alignment process in the Python API. Specifically, does importing references and adding markers affect the alignment? Should these steps be done before or after aligning the photos?

In the tutorials and examples I’ve seen, this is usually done after alignment. However, I’m curious why importing references and detecting markers wouldn’t enhance the alignment process.

Could someone explain why alignment wouldn’t be improved by incorporating marker information?
