Hello,

I am trying to generate nice looking facade orthophotos so they can be vectorized afterwards.
The problem is that there are lot of artefacts on the orthomosaic (see attachement 1). It was a tight space, I could not easily take quality pictures and there were some tree branches i could not avoid.
A planar DEM of the facade looks (see attachement 2) fine but I cannot see everything on a DEM. If two stones are perfectly aligned, it will not show on the DEM.
So my question is, is it possible to colorize a DEM with the colours from the pointcloud, or of the mesh?

Thanks for any help!
Regards,
Arnaud

Take a look at this Orthomosaic seamline editing (patching) tutorial. I think it should be all you need to fix your orthomosaic.

Thanks a lot,

It takes a lot of time and the result is better but still not as good as the mesh or facade DEM.
but that's mainly due to the poor accessibility of said facades. There was a wall very close to them so that I could not take a step back. Also there was a tree growing really close to the facade...
