Flat sparse cloud thermal
« on: March 04, 2024, 08:26:04 PM »
Dear All,
i wonder and ask you why sometimes, when aligning thermal images (1 band, 32 bit), it happens that the sparse cloud (tie points) are perfectly on a plane, like no surface topography has been detected. The same happen if I try to align single-band 8 bit images.
Did you experienced the same issue?
Thank you very much,
Stefano

Hello Stefano,

Can you provide screenshots of Initial and Adjusted tabs from the Camera Calibration dialog after completing the alignment?

According to your description it might be that the adjusted value of the focal length is quite off the initial/actual value.
