Zero resolution
« on: May 15, 2024, 11:27:10 AM »
Hi,
I receive "zero resolution" error message when generating the dense point cloud. I have successfully completed multispectral SfM in the past few days. After the alignment the bounding box is in place and I've also tested to reset region, unchecking GPU, and not doing any coordinate transformations or no optimize cameras. What else may evoke zero resolution?

Best
Kir

Hello Kir,

Can you please share the log from the Console pane from the start of the processing task up to the error message?

Also please share the starting lines from the Console that are shown when new Metashape instance is opened (additional information about the system).

Hello Kir,

Can you please check, if you get the same outcome when running Build Point Cloud procedure having Intel Iris Xe disabled in the GPU Preferences tab of Metashape?

In case you are working with multi-camera system approach, please check that cameras from all master/slave sensors are aligned - i.e. there are no NA marks next to the sensor labels in the Camera Calibration dialog and all sensors have adjusted values estimated in the same dialog.

Hi,
when disabling GPU zero resolution outcome is still the same. Attached are also the camera calibration dialogs for initial and adjusted internal camera settings. All 10 sensors have initial and adjusted values.
FYI, I created a new project from scratch and the whole workflow (alignment to orthomosaic generation) works all fine.  I assume this one project of mine is somehow corrupted (zero resolution error appeared for the first time when creating dense cloud in batch process).
