Oblique Flight Tie Point Problem
« on: March 28, 2024, 08:55:59 AM »
Hi,
I have different oblique flights. Some of them flew from east to west (a) and some of them flew from northwest to southeast (b). The problem is I can collect tie points and adjust a type flights but b types cant collect any point. Is there any way to make sure my EO? Here is sample EO from different flights.

Hi mescioglu,

I think your 2nd (B NE-NW) EO angle values are wrong compared to A flight EW. As you can see in attachment, I placed 10 images. Five with A sample EO and 5 with B sample EO. Sample A are correct as seen in 90 degrees angles in projection lines from cc to principal point (black lines) while B lines are not 90...

The second image from sample b should have angles around (-45, 0,- 151) and not (-20.33209, 41.06355, -159.08256)
