Croping by vector layer
« on: October 12, 2013, 08:39:27 PM »
Hello,
I would like to ask you about a new feature for 3D model cropping. Using of any vector layer (shapefile or another) would be very helpful for precise cropping of the model. At this moment is very complicated make a precise crop of the model.

Any idea?

Thank you
Jakub

Hello Jakub,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Currently it's possible to crop the model from Python if coordinates of reference polygon vertices are known, for example, in shape file. In case you are interested in such sample script, please provide any sample project (with decimated model) and sample shape file for this project so we could test the script and send it back to you if everything is OK.
