Extract Tie point positions in image coordinate
« on: April 29, 2024, 10:35:18 AM »
Hi everyone !

In my project, i have a goal : finding some features points to assemble hyperspectral images to then apply some transformation to the images. For this, i selected only the 3 corresponding RGB bands and used the JPEG2000 format.
I was planning to use SfM to detect the point, and i figured i cool use Metashape for that as i already have a photogrammetry 3D model and orthomosaic.

There are some points that are found on each images (in Tools => Tie Points => View Tie Points) and I'm looking to export the tie points coordinates in image coordinate (i,j) pixels, but I can't seem to find a way to do it on the GUI, and after reviewing the python API documentation and this older topic :

https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=10730

It seems like it isn't working anymore in my Metashape version

If you know if it is possible or not and if so which python command should i use ?

Thanks for you help !

Cheers
Bastien

Current version of Metashape Pro : 2.1.1
Windows 10 Professional 22H2

Hello Biegoff,

in the code shown in cited topic, you should change each instance of point_cloud
with tie_points
and it should work for version 2...

Hope this helps,
