Ignore Disabled camera's for texture recon
« on: October 23, 2013, 12:20:37 AM »
Hello,

Currently texture generation seems to ignore the disabled flag.

I have often have a few misaligned cameras in my reconstructions that i don't often see until the texture reprojection phase. It can be tricky to identify the camera I need to remove from the scene that is causing the problem. It also means i need to recalculate the texture every time I remove a camera. In practice it takes me a number of recalculations to get the proper camera removed. I also do not want to remove cameras that are aligned properly so i typically save a file and then delete cams until i find the problematic one, make note of it and then open the previous scene delete the bad cam and recaclc the texture. It probably adds an extra few hours per reconstruction.

Would it be possible for me to disable all but a few cameras and generate the texture? Then i could add the ones i select back into the calculation as I need them. Perhaps there is already a way to do this that I haven't discovered. Any workflow suggestions would be much appreciated .

Thanks

Skylr

Hello Skylr,

Disabled cameras are not taken into account during texture generation.
