Hi,
I use Metashape version 2.1.3 pro.
I need to create equirectangular/cylindric azimutal panoramas (0 to 360° horizontal and +-90° vertical) from a model georeferenced in a EPSG such as WGS84 or Lambert 93, typically around a viewpoint that could be a marker placed in a Metashape 3D Model or tiled model.
In the latest Metashape documentation, and in this forum, I've only found discussions about metashape's build panorama functionality, which seems only possible with a group of selected images taken from the same location and assigned as station type (by right-clicking on the group).
What I'm looking for is almost the opposite, as I have a model created from images not taken from the same location (such as a drone flyover). I've created a 3D model with this set of images, which I've georeferenced in an EPSG, and now I want to reconstruct a panorama around a pov / marker. I also want this panorama to start with the azimuth 0° North at the left edge of the image produced, and on the right of the abscissa axis, the azimuth progresses towards the East...
I've already used metashape's functionality to create an animation, and one could imagine creating a video and then extracting each image to reconstruct a panorama in specialized software, but is there a more direct solution in Metashape ? so far I haven't found a directly usable feature.
thank you in advance if you can help me. Kind regards.
