autodetecting my own custom targets
« on: September 21, 2024, 10:45:43 AM »
hi all,

for my projects, I use a custom printed GCP, they are standard for my team. is there a way that I can identify and autodetect these in the model?

Hello majou,

Currently there is no way to "train" Metashape to detect custom type of the targets, but you can use external Python modules and scripts that would allow autodetection of the targets, then using some additional Python scripting you can create marker projections in locations based on the coordinates tracked by the external module/script on the source images.
