It is with great pleasure Jose Martinez Rubio and myself can announce the launch of Metashape Standard online training - endorsed by Agisoft themselves.

Self paced and online the course is split into two halves; photography for photogrammetry followed by Metashape workflow. The joint goals are to ensure source images are created with photogrammetry in mind, and the Metashape workflow is as efficient as possible.

Folks, I can very much endorse this training and Simon. The material rocks, it explains so much more compared to the manual. It is based on hands-on experience in using Agisoft in real scenarios. At least for me, it has been a game changer in getting the most out of Metashape value.

The AccuPixel Foundation course for Metashape Standard has been updated to include working with masks generated in 3rd party apps. Link to the course is here:

The new topic includes a complete dataset - images and masks - and walks through the process where the subject moves within a scene, but the source images are masked to remove the background to create a single floating model:

Another update to the AccuPixel Metashape Foundation course has been published, covering how to generate masks from the model.

This technique is a very quick way to exclude material from the final mesh, reducing post-processing edits, or to permit the alignment of other cameras.

Thanks for asking Tas - we keep the course up to date with releases, and there is no time limit to complete the course or expiry date for access. Students are notified when the course is updated and can login and review the new topics.

We do not include any scripts, but we do include a lot of example datasets for the students to use.
