Metashape: Sorry, this application can not run under virtual machine

Using VMware Workstation Pro 17.6.1 with Windows 11 and get the error message in the topic.

Any solutions or isn't it possible to run Metashape in virtualization generally?

Can you please provide the output shown in cmd.exe window, if you try to execute each of the following commands from Metashape Pro installation directory:

metashape.exe --opengl angle
metashape.exe --opengl software
metashape.exe --opengl desktop

There is no output. Just the error message again that this application can not run under virtual machine under IPHLPAPI.DLL.

0xc0000142 ist displayed also at metashape.exe

BTW Metashape Standard Edition runs with VMWare!

Seems like something wrong with VM configuration.

Have you checked the general solutions related to "this application cannot run under virtual machine" message?

It is the same with VirtualBox and Hyper-V. Does not run. The same error message.

Can you state that Metashape Pro will run with VMWare generally?

We have no recent reports related to problems running Metashape in virtual environment. We haven't personal experience running Windows 11 on virtual machines, but had no issues with Windows 7, Windows 10 and Windows Server.
