Radiometric calibration of RGB images
« on: October 22, 2024, 07:43:46 PM »
Hi everyone! I have a doubt, I know that it is possible to perform radiometric calibration of multispectral images by taking pictures of a calibrated panel. But, is it possible to perform the same process using RGB images? Is it possible to radiometrically calibrate RGB images by taking pictures of a calibrated panel?

Thanks in advance.

Hello juacarri,

I think that RGB imagery calibration should work in the same way as multispectral data calibration. But you'll need to measure somehow in advance the reflectance values of the panel for the RGB bands of the camera used.
