1. In what scenarios would you need to calculate the volume difference between two surfaces?

2. Are you looking for just the numerical result, or would you also need a visual representation showing the areas with differences between the surfaces?

I need this feature for monitoring excavation or filling activities at dam sites between two or more DEM. Visual representation would be preferred, but if that's not possible, numerical results showing cut and fill volumes will suffice.
