Metashape plugin for CAD-program
« on: November 21, 2024, 04:50:36 PM »
Hello everyone
Does anyone know a solution or a way to quickly obtain a 2.5D site plan from an aerial survey?
Current detours are too time-consuming or impractical for us, so my thoughts went in the direction of a plugin in a CAD program that shows me the 3D model or point cloud in the CAD program.

Or does anyone have experience with the layer manager and digitizing directly in Agisoft and then exporting to DXF?

Best regards
Jens

Hello,

Have you tried to draw lines and points in Agisoft Viewer? Import the 3D tls model (created and exported by Metashape) , create an active vector layer, and draw whatever you want using the underlying 3D Tls model . Later just save the layer in DXF and here you are, in CAD program again.

The other way I am doing it is Virtual Surveyor, google it.

Best,
Darko

Hi Darko,
thanks for your help and the discription at first.
But thats the point.Wwe are looking for something so that the digitized objects are automatically transformed into our built layer management, so that we get a finished plan when importing into our cad system. And not to move the objects on the right layer by hand.
So i checked out the Virtual Surveyor, it seems very interesting to edit the airborne data. I will discuss this software with my colleges.

At least a big thank you for helping me.

Best Jens
