PTX structured import
« on: November 25, 2024, 09:51:41 PM »
I have a PTX file that is structured; however, it is a single file that includes the individual setups, rather than separate files.
Only a single setup out of the full set imports into Metashape.
The exporting application does not support exporting individual PTX files for each setup.

Am I missing a setting on import somewhere, or do I have go to another application to break out the individual files for the setups do that they can be imported?

I am still looking for a solution to this issue.

It  is really inconvenient to have to select and export the setups in another app and export them individually so I can use them in Metashape.

I don't understand why Metashape does not recognize the setups in a PTX with structured setups included.
It does not appear to be an issue in other applications.

Hello chrisd,

Can you please send to support@agisoft.com the example of the data ready for import, so that we could check it on our side?
Additionally please include the information about scanner/application used.
Best regards,

Hi Alexey,

I will do that, but I will make a smaller example file than the ones I currently have, might take me a few days.

Thanks
