Option to Globally Adjust the Displayed Decimal Places
« on: January 10, 2025, 07:06:57 PM »
I process my Agisoft projects using the Swiss national coordinate system CH1903+ (LV95/LN02), where the units are in meters. When I import markers and display them in the reference pane, or when I view the transformed camera positions, all coordinates are shown with six decimal places. I assume this originates from the use of latitude and longitude coordinates.

However, when working with meters, this level of detail makes things very hard to read (lots of zeros) and suggests a false sense of precision.

Is it possible to add an option to adjust the number of displayed decimal places? The full resolution could still be used internally for calculations, but displaying fewer decimal places would greatly improve readability.

Thank you in advance!

Just adjust the width of the Column to your liking.

Showing microns for aerial drone scans does seem a little bit overkill, lol.
I'm sure there must be someone doing photogrammetry with micrographs, but i'd guess it's quite niche!

Having settings for displayed decimal places would please everyone.
My 'little' scan of our dive site, 'Manta Point'.  Mantas & divers photoshopped in for scale!

Just adjust the width of the Column to your liking.

Although this is a temporarily applicable solution, it appears visually unappealing and second, it does not work in the first column if negative values are present (see attached image).
