incorrect alignment of the object from video
« on: February 07, 2025, 08:25:04 AM »
ello, everyone.
I was unable to align the photos in correct order. I took a video from 5 number of camera on same time(insta 360 AcePro2) and cut the frame in frame step 10. Setting that i used in my camera:4K_24fps_4:3 and the camera angle arrangement was camera① 18deg, camera② 50deg, camera③ 90deg, camera④ 50deg and camera⑤ 18deg. Distance from 1st camera was 70cm. video recording was done in landscape mode. Could you please help me out as I am new to metashape i am unable to find the reason.

Previously, i was unable to align the photo correctly, but was able to align the same photo by changing the photo order( example :  change the photo order for camera 1 from 0 to 25 and for camera 2 from 26 to 45   and continue same process for camera 3,4,5 respectively)
So here is my question, 「 Do the photo order affect the allignment of the object??」NOTE: the photo used was obtained from video with 10 frame step

Hi!

Did you try to change camera type from Frame to Fisheye in Tools menu -> Camera Calibration?

Are you using Fisheye?

And did you turn on rolling shutter correction?

Picture where taken in the linear mode setting of action camera. Should we change the camera type to fish eye for linear mode also? Isnt the linear mode is frame type ?
@olihar i m using frame type and rolling shutter is disabled. i dont know where i m having the problem with same setting of 8k and 16:9 i was able to make the model but for 4K i was unable to align correctly.
