Transformation ellipsoid height into DHHN2016

Hello, we have a project where we have to transform our pictures from ETRS89 and ellipsoid heights to GK and DHHN2016. I downloaded the Geoid tif file and put it in the Metashape folder.
When I am trying to adjust the system in Metashape to GK + DHHN2016 I get the following error message: "Selected vertical datum is unavailable. Please configure datum transformation."
Does somebody know what the problem could be?

Hello,

please confirm that the downloaded geoid file (GCG2016.tif) is in the Metasahape geoids folder either in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Agisoft\Metashape Pro\geoids or  C:\Program Files\Agisoft\Metashape Pro\geoids.

Hello, thanks for the answer.
Yes the file is there and it works since I can transform to etrs89+ DHHN2016 but not to GK + DHHN2016

could you specify what is GK Coordinate system?

It is DHDN / 3-degree Gauss-Kruger zone 3

I see.

since the DHDN datum is not geo centered as ETRS89, you must create a new geoid file referenced to this DHDH datum.
