Quality of Life UI Improvements
(1/1)
KBL:
Hi,
I would like to request two quality of life improvements to the UI:
1) I would prefer a small asterisk next to the active 3D model, rather than using italics and non-italics to show which model is active. I find it hard to remember if italics is active or inactive, and with only two models you can't easily deduce it. A simple asterisk I think would work better e.g. "3D Model (4,659,034 faces, Medium quality)*".
2) Could you please adjust selection so shift adds to selection and ctrl removes, or provide a way to adjust the key binding? This is exactly the opposite of every other piece of 3D software and having to remember to reverse things makes life unnecessarily difficult.
Thank you!

+1 for using shift to add to selection and ctrl to remove.
Another small UI improvement that would greatly increase selection usability would to be to use a different mouse cursor shape for selection mode than is used for navigation mode. When rapidly switching back and forth between navigation and selection using the space bar shortcut I need to keep looking at the icons in the toolbar to see which is active to make sure I don't accidentally start rotating or selecting if I'm in the wrong mode. Being able to identify what mode I'm in by looking at the cursor would be much more efficient.
