Patches of missing Vertex Colors on model.

Do we know why there's some patches of missing vertex colours on my model?
I reran it and it gave the same result.  And i've seen it on a couple of other old datasets that i'm reprocessing.

I don't mean the curled up edges... That's normal for my scans...

There's the big patches of good data, with good 3d shape, but just missing coloured vertexes.
I've rerun build model and the missing patches are slightly different shapes, sizes.

Is it a mesh or a block model?

Also what happens, if you try to copy the model, cut a part with the problematic area and just run Colorize Vertices command from Tools Menu? Also are there any masks applied to the images that correspond to the problematic areas?

It's just a standard single mesh, not a block model.  And no masks.
Just an Align Photos, Build Model.

The cropped part of the model with missing colours successfully coloured all of the vertices when running the Colorize Vertices on it.

All the MS settings should be near to stock, as i'd recently clean installed my os.

Just to confirm: the screenshot in the original post shows only single chunk, not multiple chunks in Show Aligned mode?

If so, then I would ask you to share the copy of the chunk in PSZ project that contains aligned cameras and mesh model, so that we could analyze it. Original images are not required.
