Decimal places in reference panel
« on: May 15, 2025, 06:01:06 PM »
In the latest version of Metashape the number of decimal places shown in the reference panel is now 8 digits for Lat/Lon and 3 digits for linear units, as is mentioned in the change log. There are many cases where 3 decimal places for linear units is insufficient - I know you can double click on the values to get the full number to show, but is there a way to increase the decimal places shown by default?

Why do you need to see more of them? the values are there.

This issue was already reported as a bug here: https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=17168.0

As for why more significant digits are useful, we commonly work with small objects on the order of several cm in size and want to be able to work in absolute units of meters with sub-mm precision so having displayed values rounded to the nearest mm isn't adequate.
