Orientation Export
« on: November 08, 2013, 10:43:55 AM »
I want to export the orientation of photoscan pro to ERDAS LPS.
I?ve tested all the different export files (Bingo, OmegaPhiKappa, etc.) and i get allways the same results. But when i measure the markerpoints in LPS Terrain Editor. i get a difference of 20 cm.
The results of the orientation in photscan pro looks ok and the errors are expected.
I use a ultracamx  with gps coordinates an control points with accuracy of 2-3 cm, i use the precalibrated calibration parameter fixed. I tested version 0.9x and 1.00.
The calculated pointcloud sits exactly on the surface when i view it in the ERDAS LPS Terrain Editor with an orientation of orima and the pointcloud has the same offset of 20cm in the exportet orientation of photoscan pro.

Working with OPK orientation data, since implementing the first versions of PhotoScan, and works perfect, review your data.

I tested a few other projekts and they are OK.
But this one has an Offset of 20 cm. It Looks ok in other orientation programms but i get no right orientation in photoscan. The difference between the projekts are the direction of the stripes. The Problem projekt has one stripe from exactly North to South. The other projekts has west-east stripes.
What Parameters you set f?r your orientations in photoscan?
