Can someone help me understand how this is happening and if there is a technique used to help with alignment.
So when I do the alignment step, I get photos that are being place way away from the geotag location. When I look at the Error results it’s -32 meters off from its original position (see the image). I know this is not RTK and just the onboard GNSS receiver, but it should not be off by 30 meters. I can even tell with looking at the alignment that these photos are supposed to be somewhere else. I have the error set at a default 10 meters when importing. My question is.
Is there a way to say, listen if you are 32 meters off then either don’t use it and not align it or somehow force it to stay in the location and try matching the tie points.
I get why this is happening with the image looking very similar, but I thought that the setting for the lat and long error (10 meters) will limit the photo from moving more than 10 meters. Is this not true ?
