Report of large area project looks strange
« on: June 23, 2025, 07:41:56 AM »
Dear all,

i recently generated a report of a large mapping project in v2.2.1 and i need to send it to my client.

But some of the parts look really strange and i do not like to send it that way.

1) The page of the survey data is all black. The client will be confused.

2) The camera calibration show some larger residual stripes than i am used to for this camera. This might be due to the combination with another camera in the project (all is in 1 chunk).

Do you have any ideas, or what are your thoughts?

Thanks
Alex

Hello Alex,

I think that the Survey page is all black due to the big number of cameras in the project and long&thin area covered. Dots that represent camera centers cover the area completely and it is not possible to see the overlap color.

As for the camera calibration - then each sensor should be displayed on separate page with its individual parameters. In case you have images from different sensors/cameras in the single calibration group, then it is better to split them into separate groups prior to alignment or at least before optimization process.
