Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with point cloud classification. When I select points and assign them to a specific class (which is deactivated in the filter), everything initially looks fine. However, once I zoom out, unclassified points start to reappear in that same area.

This happens in all directions, regardless of the view angle, and it seems like the classification is not fully applied across the entire point cloud. As a result, when I generate a mesh from the “classified” point cloud, those unclassified points cause visible artifacts and errors.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or found a reliable workaround?

Thanks in advance for any advice or insights!

Best regards, Martin

Hello Martin,

Could be just a visual issue, as the point classes should update across all LOD levels and for large point clouds may take some time.

Can you please try to use Update Point Cloud after manually assigning point classes (the option can be found in the Process sub-menu of the point cloud context menu available by right-clicking on the point cloud label in the Workspace pane)? Check if properly updates all zoom levels when the update process is completed.
