More info on projections_3d
« on: January 18, 2026, 09:18:43 AM »
Hello support,

with the 2.3 release, we now have a projections_3d attribute of the Tie Points class which represents the 3d projections for laser scans:
Code: [Select]
projections_3d
Point projections for each laser scan.
Type
Metashape.TiePoints.Projections

I would like to know how they are generated and best way to access them thru the API. I have 2 projects with laser scans aligned with imagery. However, in one of them I can access the projections_3d thru the intensity images associated with tle laser scans, But in second one, I do not have them....

Some clarification would be useful on this new feature...:)

In first attachement, I show a project with images and lase scans aligned with some 3 d projections between the laser scan intensity images. Shown a tie point mesured in 3 laser scan images.

Second attachment show a project with no 3d projections between spherical laser images....Shown a tie point with 2d projections on one laser scan image and 2 terrestrial images
