Distortion Value Export
« on: November 17, 2013, 06:14:35 AM »
It would be great to be able to have the undistortion directly in Nuke.
Is there a possibility?
Other software uses uv undistort maps - so when you use these maps with stmap or idistort in nuke you can create undistorted images there.
Or it would be nice if you could select a distortion from a lens and use that data to undistort other images. maybe this is already possible.

great piece of software!
cheers,
Vincent

Hello Vincent,

You can undistort photos without the need to align them. You need to add images to the new chunk, then load calibration data using Camera Calibration window and then use Tools Menu -> Export -> Undistort Photos command.

... and if you do that once on a 'clean' uvmap image to get a distorted one, you could maybe use that directly in your software?
