ArchiCAD terrain profile

I'd like to reach out to you
I scanned a piece of land with several photos to get the terrain profile in Agisoft, it's perfect, it gave me exactly what I wanted, but I would like to cut out just what I need as indicated in the photo



Then I would like to use it in ArchiCAD to be able to follow the terrain profile with the terrain tool in ArchiCAD, but I don't know how to transfer it from Agisoft to ArchiCAD. Is it possible to get the terrain profile in DXF or DWG format? Otherwise there is the point cloud but the file is heavy

Draw a vector and follow the height file, you can then export this vector.

Thank you very much Olihar for your answer but I don't know how to do it, what tools should you do it with in Agisoft and what format should you import it into?

You draw it on the ortho or DSM file in Metashape and export as what ever Vector file you like.

I tried instead with a 3DS export but my project has no level in ArchiCAD.
I placed a terrain and the 3DS file next to it, but it is impossible to align it to the level of the terrain I drew in ArchiCAD



In plan view in ArchiCAD, we can clearly see that the project is not in normal view



Otherwise, I've put some reference points to maybe level it, but I have no idea at all how to adjust it

Looks like you are processing this all wrong from the beginning. Can you send the dataset and the EPSG code you are using and your GEOid?

Bonjour Magictor24,

your project is not correctly referenced. To do so you must pin the 3 markers in the images where they appear. And enter their coordinates in the reference pane. But these are not correct as they claim to be in CoordinateSystem 'Voirol 1875 (Paris) (EPSG::4811), which is an old GCS in grads with Paris as its origin. I would probably think that the reference system is Local Coordinates (m)...the ones you have are clearly wrong:

Il faut:
- avec Paramètres de Reference (last button in Reference pane), set Coordinate System to Local;
- fake approximate coordinates for 3 markers (set accuracy to 100m/.05m) and measure point 2 in at least 2 images;
- Update transformation (center button in reference pane) and now model should be leveled to 3 points.

You can now measure profile, generate Digital elevation model, place line strings, export, ....

Of course, if you have precise coordinates for 3 markers then enter a corresponding accuracy (i.e. .01/.02) and after Update corresponding model will  fitted to these 3 markers and much more accurate

Your precision accuracy settings for your GCPs should reflect their actual survey quality. For example survey grade GNSS, 0.01 m, stand-alone GNSS 1 to 2 m, points extracted from satellite 10 m resolution a few meters,...)
